Today is a fun and fruitful day! Happy serving at tmx and ecg. It was really fun. Today at tmx got Ng and she was quite good, better. taught us quite alot and it was really interesting. At least i got to fulfil one session today with 7 cases but i wrote 3 because i have only exactly had 3 patients that i do hands-on and observation for the whole session. Anyway, its counted by sessions not cases so it ok. haha
anyway, lunch time was good. Fried rice was nice.... plus pocky for dessert. Then we went into the preparation room and one doctor seem to have forgotten to take his stethoscope with him during lunch time so you can guess that we were practically playing with it! We heard each other's heart beat, stomach digestion, swallowing of saliva and BP diastolic and systolic. Haha, it was really very funny!
After lunch was ecg. Was so damn nice too. Really fun. At first, me and kelly (tech) do slowly, then got alot patient like about 8 then we fasten up like machine. Then she very funny, the uncle was wearing his shoes and even before he had worn it, kelly opened the door big big and siganalled him to go out. haha. the scene was so damn funny. Then i tell her when one patient goes out: even before the door closes, another patient will come in.
true enough, another patient did came in! haha. she was like so amazed but agreed with me.
Then it was an inpatient with MRSA! OMG, its infectious bacteria disease and well, basically you have to be really careful. After the patient leave, kelly say : faster faster! wash your hands!
I was like: ya hor ya hor, faster wash with HIBI scrub.... the one that makes your hand dry and wrinkled.
Finally, no patient were left and we got to relax and chat. Almost everything... like her hair and i touched her hair and she ask: did you wash your hand?
I said no immediately.. haha .
She still scared the MRSA is still persisting. Haha
Then she ask me, got clean the electrodes, i say got
Got clean the wires, i say got
Got clean the machine, i say got
Then she ok...
Then i ask her, need to clean the floor?
haha she of course nearly punch me. haha
then she was making phone calls and thats the thing that she hates the most. she say its boring.
Yup, mayb but we are beginners so we think that its quite fun. However, i know that we might meet some patients who are really very non-cooperative. Haha. Today one, still ok. Very co-operative. haha
Anyway, me and sabrina started to make phone calls to patients coming for tmx echo. It was fun and entertaining and kelly was very happy when we finish calling the patients on the list. haha.
Then we started to look at the lotion brand and see which one is good for our sensitive skin and we found one 12.80 one not bad. At the pharmacy there. can consider buying haha.
Then we also talked about her hair cos her hair really very stylo. We laugh until ecg room a bit noisy. haha
really very nice and fruitful today haha :)
